Jewish Prayer ASU - Arizona State University

For Jewish students at Arizona State University (ASU), there's a Jewish synagogue right off campus that's specifically catered to you.

Welcome to the Smetana Family Shul, a warm and welcoming Shul where every Jewish student is automatically a card-carrying member — without paying any fees or membership, you're a member just because you're Jewish.

We'll lead you through the services with an interactive explanation by Rabbi Mendy and Rabbi Shmuel, and you will enjoy traditional Jewish songs and tunes. You don't need to know anything at all about prayer; it doesn't matter if you can't read Hebrew or know what do and when to do it, and you don't have to stay for the entire prayer either.

Check out the schedule for the next prayer service on Friday night, Shabbat (Saturday) morning or Jewish holiday right here.
