Every morning in this splendorous forest, the creatures gather before sunrise about the tree of the tzidikel bird. As the sun reaches the tops of the trees, its rays shine down through the canopy, and the tzidikel opens its wings in full glory. A panorama of colors glisten and sparkle in its feathers, dancing in the sunlight like so many magical stars and fairies to entertain the bird’s delighted audience. Each morning is a more glorious spectacle than the day before. Each morning, all the creatures ahhh and ooh in wonder.

Do A Mitzvah For Israel
Our hearts and minds are with our brothers and sisters in Israel. Our social media feeds, e‑mail inboxes, evening headlines and phone lines carry ominous reports of troubled times in Israel. Rockets are raining down on towns and cities all over, there have already been heart-wrenching civilian casualties, and war looms. Our extended Jewish family is under fire.
Is there anything we can do? Most of us are hundreds or thousands of miles away, in our own communities. Yet our very being cries out: How can we help?
A mitzvah, a G‑dly deed, has the power to reach deep into the core of our being—where we are all one. At this core, a positive deed on our part can help bring peace and goodness to this troubled world.
Our mitzvahs, no matter how small they may seem, perpetuate the legacies of those who have fallen, and ensure the continued safety of our brothers and sisters under attack.
Take a minute and pledge a mitzvah today.

It's how we ASJew it up. Be sure to check out our calendar for info on the latest events at Chabad. See you tomorrow night for at our delicious Shabbat meal!
